When Bart was a child, he used to love being out in the pool. As he got older, he hated going outside. Maybe his dislike of being in the snow was on a sled and got dumped in the snow when he was a baby and landed face down. Maybe he remembers when this all started.
ReplyDeleteI agree about Congress. They were disgusting. Even if we don't agree with President Obama or don't like him, we should show respect for the office. The Republicans have no solutions for the problems, but really like saying "NO" before the president even puts anything out there to discuss.

ReplyDeleteWhen you were talking about the couple in the car, I thought of the day my husband and I brought home our Prius. We went to leave that evening and couldn't get it to start. It seems that you must put on the brake and then push the starter. Thank God our daughter-in-law had just driven a no key vehicle.
Voretaq mentioned that people don't seem to know what an emergency is. We have the strangest calls on the scanner. One day, there was a call for 911 because someone couldn't poop. Some people call for everyday complaints like their back hurts or many need lifting help.
I'm glad the storm wasn't too bad in NYC, but other places got it much worse.
