  1. Explain this one to me. I have taken an anti-anxiety medicine at bedtime for over 10 years. Now that I am over 64, the insurance company is afraid that I will fall down so I have to have it pre-approved or pay a higher co-pay. If I pay more I can have it and I guess they don't care if I fall down because I take it.

My friend "gifted" money to her son to put a down payment on a house. Her tax preparer took it as a deductible on her taxes. We had asked about this a few years ago and were told that we could gift any amount, but it was not a legal deductible on our taxes. How could they do this if it wasn't given to a charity, but to a relative?

  2. Voretaq was at the top of his game this week. He had a few humorous zingers.

The info on the John Deere policy was very interesting.
