I listen to your Podcast faithfully. You are lucky to have a mother who wants to support you and enjoys listening . I think every generation should try to be a better mother/father/grandparent/etc. than the previous generation. Your opinion?
ReplyDeleteWhy not just have a single bathroom for any gender? I was in a bathroom and a woman had a boy who was about 11 in there. That made me uncomfortable. I just saw a sitcom (Life in Pieces) about a live-in girlfriend who had severe abdominal pain because she wouldn't poop at the apartment when he was there and he worked at home. She didn't want him to think she was imperfect. I thought of it when you mentioned going into the bathroom to do your business and get out.
I saw the movie "The Shack". I also read the book. It attempted to answer the time-old question: Why does God allow good or innocent people to suffer? I got more of a reinforcement about the nature of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. They are God in different forms. I like to think of God as a kind and gentle being, not someone who punishes people. I also like the idea in the movie that God is seen by different people in a different form.
I am going to see "Beauty and the Beast" because I heard that Emma is wonderful in it. Are there people who watch movies and pick out tiny parts to criticize and discourage us from going? There are movies I went to just because my grandson wanted to see them. I found myself enjoying each one as much as he did. I guess I'm just a kid at heart when it comes to movies.
