It's my opinion that the Athens teachers made a strong statement by going back to work before they had to. I think it was a great move and may have changed the thinking of some of the public.
ReplyDeleteI have to laugh that there was an article in the Daily Review in Towanda that had the "poor" owners of a local hotel that was filled the entire time the gas workers were in the area crying about having no customers. They are surprised? The gas company lied to get what they wanted. Then slipped out of town in the dark of night.
What has happened in this country to freedom of speech? Don't we have a right to say and write what something that is our opinion as long as we have the facts correct? You're right. It's very hard to change someone's opinion even if you can prove that what you are saying is backed up by facts.
I'll be glad after Pennsylvania votes so we stop getting calls from the candidates. There's no person to give your opinion to.
