The government policies make no sense. I am on the board of a food pantry. They don't have to pay taxes, but they have to pay a fee ($250) in order to file the paperwork not to pay taxes. What a scam!
ReplyDeleteYou were discussing the start of vacations. It depends on who you are if your request for vacation during school is approved. If it's a pain-in-the-ass family or part of social "royalty", they get approved no matter where they are going. At least, that was my experience. Then the teacher has to prepare the work and correct the crap they return with. The work is usually wrong because the student wasn't there for instruction.
ReplyDeleteDon't you think parents causing noise at a graduation when asked not to is an act of defiance?
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the new expensive graduation parties? When I graduated, we had a party after the ceremony through the school. Now every class member has to have a separate party -no expense spared. Could it be for the gifts?
Did you see that if victims of Hurricane Sandy agreed to government involvement, the government chose the contractors who were from Texas and Oklahoma and didn't even know what was required in New Jersey? Now homeowners who had these clowns do their work have to have it redone out of their own pockets.
Still love the humor in the Podcast.
