Bart and Norma discuss the passing of Bart's grandmother, old people shouldn't be running Congress, Zoom apparently doesn't believe remote work works, and shows like The Witcher are dumbed down because, they say, the American audience is too stupid to understand their nuanced and complicated stories!

Show Notes:
- Maybe we should remove people from government when they're too addle-brained to function...?
- McConnell heckled with calls to retire
- Idiot tells Stephen King to "get a job"
- "Incandescently stupid"...writing memos to Trump
- Miss Teen USA 2007 goes uhhhhhhhh
- Remote work enabling champ Zoom insists workers return to the office
- Elite Panic
- "Our stories are stupid because Americans are stupid"
- The Critical Drinker - How the Witcher Destroyed Itself
- Note: I re-watched his review of the Witcher situation, and I remembered only one aspect; he reviewed several big issues with the show's trajectory and how they culminated into a #$%show. The one that stuck in my memory was the first season focusing on the sorceress/witch character, and the second on the character being trained, and the titular Witcher has very little focus for a show literally called The Witcher.
- The "Trump's lawyer is dumber than Trump" article I was referencing
- Gaslighting
I liked the episode when some aliens fixed Spock and he became all human.
ReplyDeleteWent to see "Meg 2" and really liked it. It was entertaining.
It is very interesting to plan a funeral when you have 2 siblings. $18,000 seems a little steep to me. I think we could have gotten a used car for a casket at a lower price. People can't understand why I'm not sobbing uncontrollably. After seeing how people pass with hospice, I was so glad Mom was at peace and not in a home any more.
