  1. Everything I have found says that you get the COVID vaccine for free. Guthrie sent a bill to our insurance company for $25 after we got our first shots. They haven't settled it yet so we'll see. But my mom's insurance did not get charged for her vaccines.

  2. We changed our electricity provider once. For 2 months, our bill was lower, then winter hit and the bill doubled that of Penelec the year before. Apparently we didn't read the fine print. When the demand went up, the rates went sky high. Never again.

  4. This was in the local paper: Recently, the entire Oakley Union Elementary School District Board, located in the San Francisco bay area, resigned just days after they were heard making disparaging comments about parents at a virtual board meeting that they didn’t realize was being broadcast to the public.

—Some of the comments these school board members made included making jokes about parents just wanting a babysitter or to smoke pot in their home.

—You see, parents in that district were concerned because their schools have still not reopened, and they had been expressing their thoughts about that fact in various letters and social media posts.
