My husband and I have decided that it is the insurance company who decides your medical treatment. It seems like more of our tests and medications are decided by the insurance company. They have changed meds because there are cheaper ones even though the present ones being taken are working. Sometimes generic drugs are not as good as brand-name ones. It comes down to money not what is best for the patient.
