I know there are countries that have very low gun death rates. Apparently they do use gun control laws and it works.
The K-mart story you talked about is understandable. When spring comes, there are two entrances to the store and often there is no one at the counter at the second entrance. I got 2 bags of mulch loaded in my car and went in to pay, but there was no one to take my money. My husband and I drove to the other entrance and I paid there. We could have driven away with it and not paid. I understand how this woman loaded so much into her truck before anyone saw her.
We get gas royalties, but have received nothing from Chesapeake for 2 months so I sent an email asking why. They said that for April the production costs were more than our check so we had a negative amount. Go figure. But we may get one next month.
Pennsylvania has passed a budget, but they don't know where the money will come from to pay the bills.
