Bart's dad wanted him to know that we had just gotten the car "fixed" because of a recall from the factory. We went about 2 miles down the road when the engine block fell out. It was the last time we got a Ford.
I guess small towns do have their perks. We can usually park for free.
When you were talking about people who are stoned driving, I have notices older people who come out of stores and can barely walk, get in their cars and drive. They don't look when they pull out and take chances that most drivers wouldn't. Why do we hesitate to take the keys away from parents who we know are not capable of driving safely? Maybe it would help if they smoked marijuana.
