What a unique voice your guest has. I wish he would train the fast food employees so I could understand what they are saying. Your Podcast was very informative.
ReplyDeleteThe statement about how they don't care whether the students learn or not, as long as the parents don't complain is right on the mark.
It was really something to think about when you talked about decreasing the salaries when women enter a profession. I'd never thought about it before.
What scares me is the fact that people in low-paying jobs will have no retirement. Many do not plan for the future or even for the next month.
Another fact about the gas companies leaving is that some of the employees and their families stayed in the county and went on welfare. I would question whether they are legally in this country. A discussion for another day.
Thank you for the information. I learned more than my one thing today. The mask law was weird.
