Episode 34: Guns, X-Men, and Operation Choke Point

This marks week four of Pete's absence! A MONTH! Four weeks of Norma co-hosting with Bart! This time we discuss things like Operation Choke Point being used by the government to "discourage" legal but morally gray businesses...like porn...from being able to function by making it hard to do banking. Of course this will be abused by future administrations to prevent abortion clinics and such from functioning...

We also talk about guns brandished in public and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

    I wonder how many of the evil businesses that Operation Choke Hold is targeting are visited on the sly by people involved with the government? It's probably like everything else: to the public they look like angels saving the world, but in reality, they are the ones visiting the "bad" places and supporting them. It's like the Christians who watch the porn so they can tell the rest of us not to watch them because they will make us go to Hell.
