ReplyDeleteWent to "Transformers, Rise of the Beasts" and enjoyed it. We have to take our grandson along to explain parts of the movie. I think Bart would have even had more intormation because he loved the transformers.
Residents of the Spring Hill and Lime Hill areas of Wyalusing Township were attracted by this unusual aircraft flying over their homes last week. Described as a helicopter saw or aerial saw, the aircraft is owned by Aerial Solutions, and used to trim tree branches along power lines. The saw is attached to the helicopter with a vertical boom and is lowered to tree level where 10 rotating blades, each measuring 24-inches, cut away encroaching tree limbs measuring up to 8-10 inches as the helicopter flies slowly along the right of way. Tree limbs fall straight down, assisted by air blasts from the helicopter’s rotors. Nearby residents are given advance notice of when the aerial trimming will take place. We saw this in the air and wondered what it was. Never heard of it before.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't want to die in a "can" at the bottom of the ocean, don't pay loads of money and go out on the ocean. I'll see the Titanic in news reports, not up close.
