ReplyDeleteIn a July 8 letter sent to the scouting community, Five Rivers stated that it intended to use proceeds from the sale of the camp to cover its commitment to contribute $832,000 to the Settlement Trust, which totals almost three billion dollars and will be used to compensate thousands of victims of alleged sexual abuse. Camp Brule was sold for 2 million dollars to an LLC. This was from an article in the Rocket which went on to describe the various projects which honored many former scouts.
