I'm sitting here listening to your podcast and CBS news is blowing up about the mob outside the Capital. A woman was shot and died. The senators are in a small space and fear getting COVID.
ReplyDeletePennsylvania's senate also had a fight over one person who they say should not be sworn in because there is a dispute about the election.
When you were talking about smelling the playdough, it reminded me of the senses lesson I did with my third graders. I would have them smell vanilla extract and then taste it by dipping a tongue depressor in it. Some years later, I found that vanilla has a little alcohol in it. Oops!
ReplyDeleteI would like to say that the Guthrie billing department sucks. I had to pay for my lens for my left eye because I wanted a toric lens to help the astigmatism. I had to send an $800 check before the surgery or they wouldn't do it. After 2 months, I contacted them to ask why they hadn't cashed the check. They "investigated" it and couldn't find the check. I finally called the eye care center and 2 days later, the check cleared our bank. No one called to say they found it and they had suggested I cancel the check and make a new one. This isn't the first problem we've had with them.
