Just got tickets to take our grandson to see "Dolittle". He wants to see it because Ironman and Spiderman are in it.
ReplyDeleteOn CBS news this morning, they used a pumpkin pie to show the inequality in wealth in the US. First they had people on the street attempt to place the pieces in the 5 areas (wealthy, upper middle class, middle class, lower middle class and poor). It was amazing when they put the pieces in the right places. Almost all the pieces were in the top 20% with most of that in the wealthy 1%. The lower pan had no pie with a bill of what they are in debt for. The lower % got crumbs. I finally got it and it makes me sick. The government taxes everything I have in the middle class. I mean EVERYTHING. Our gas royalties, our IRAs, etc. It sucks.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite authors died: Mary Higgins Clark. She wrote wonderful mysteries and I will miss her writing. I hope someone continues in her style. I believe she lived in New Jersey.
