Episode 285: Hope Never Dies and Other Optimistic Stories

Bart, Norma and Voretaq discuss a variety of news, most of it finally isn't devote to Trump! (Well, some is...but really, it's 2019...you can't escape it!)  We talk about an Alien stage play, teachers being shot for "training purposes", and mention the lack of awareness for the wealthy regarding college admission. If you listen to the end, you'll even hear about a very weird crime involving Little Debbies!

  2. I watched "The Greatest Showman" and found P. T. Barnum to be quite fascinating. I'm eager to read a book or two on his life.

  3. If you watch "Survivor" or "Big Brother", you can see how awful people can be to each other when competing for food and money. You were talking about what would happen if a disaster occurred in the world.
