Show Notes:

  1. This was a first for us. We went to our bank that we have been a customer of for over 40 years to cash a $300 check. They couldn't cash it because the computers were down and they couldn't confirm that we had that much in our account. I think it's time to find another bank. Oh, they just had Frontier there to install something. We saw the trucks in the parking lot and the guys working in the bank. That could explain it. It was all their banks, not just the one in Wysox.

  2. Interesting fact: Stephen King has a phobia for the number 13.

It's so true that we don't care about things until they specifically affect us. I see this in the flooding problem lately. I feel bad, but am glad I don't have to deal with it. My mother is of the age where she is not upset over the death of a friend. She's glad it's not her.

  3. Towanda had a priest who got a local teenager pregnant who he was counseling. I think it happened in the 80s and he was moved to another parish. I don't know what happened to the baby.
