When you think about it, your class rank in society makes a difference in many things you do and determines how much weight your opinions hold. Even in our small town, there are certain people whose word means more than mine.
ReplyDeleteWhat about sports stars who start making huge salaries? Are they considered higher up in society even though they have never functioned with the rich and famous? Is it the amount of money or the power?
That was an interesting fact about our government being made for the rich to govern. So was Abraham Lincoln an anomaly?
I watched the vice presidential debates. It drove me crazy because I couldn't understand either one since they constantly interrupted and talked over one another. Do any of these people know the definition of debate?
