  1. I feel Mother's Day has become a commercialized day to benefit businesses. Every day should be a day to tell your mother in some way that she is special to you. I think we all do the thing on Facebook because we feel bad for those who couldn't have children so we make it a general thing. Think of most of the holidays and how we say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Easter" and really could care less.

I must be different because I like children when they are older and I can read with them and do science experiments with them. Babies scream and take away restful sleep. So, not everyone thinks babies are so cute.

When I was teaching, there were certain teachers who always were asking to leave early for an appointment. Sometimes a rule is made to discipline a few people and ends up hurting those who only need the favor once or twice a year. I always hated the general rules made because administrators were afraid to confront the person who was taking advantage. There were probably teachers who constantly left during their prep so now everyone suffers.

I remember one year teachers were told they were being moved with a letter in their mailbox. The principal was a wimp and couldn't face people with the bad news.

It makes me uncomfortable when someone with piercings or those earlobe stretchers waits on me in a store. I can see why employers don't hire those with certain visual changes that customers would find annoying. I would rather see someone with neat, clean colorful hair then hair that is dirty and unkempt.
