  1. We have seen many people with the buttons in their ears that stretch the earlobe. I cringe every time I see it, but I wonder why they do this. Do any of you have an opinion of this.

  2. I just watched the 4th episode of the new Star Trek and really enjoyed it. It reminded me of the early TV series and I've started to figure out the characters. I'm amazed at Bart's knowledge of the ship's details.

  3. I think the kids who are good students and never in trouble are more sensitive to getting in trouble and think their life is over. We had a neighbor whose son committed suicide. He was very bright and the rumor was that he got a low grade in history, got off the bus, got a gun, walked into the field and killed himself. He just saw it as a complete failure. They can't seem to put it into perspective.
